  10. Crazy Dick Party
  11. Cats Made of Rabbits, The Message

Rather than have tons of short tracks, as I did on my last album, I decided to go with longer tracks resulting in a shorter track listing. This also results in more bang for your buck if you download a single track off of Napster, iTunes or CD Baby.
I cut some favorite bits basing cuts on whether or not I thought I could do the bit better on my next attempt and also how well the jokes before and after stand on their own without the bit going on the chapping block. The DVD will be close to uncut though, so all the jokes from this performance will be out there.

While it is still up in the air if this coming out on Apprehensive Films, the local indy label who did my last album, or if we're doing it through a much bigger label, the album is coming out soon. We're getting it all ready and the bigger label has asked for one more shot at it after we've put the package together at which point they'll yay or nay it.

If the big label puts it out, the cover will feature a photo of me. If it's the indy label, it'll feature the bunny painting with the boobies. My consolation if I don't get a label will be boobs. Yay boobs. I bet we double sales by having boobs on the cover, even though they're bunny boobs. That rules. Watch for the album as soon as March!

Comedy Correspondent

Well, after two years of hard work the Comedy Correspondent segment that I've been pitching, and repitching and re-repitiching to Capital Public Radio finally went out over the airwaves today.
You can hear it here:

Please consider dropping them a note or visiting their facebook page:
to show support for the show.

You can hear the three pilots we made featuring amazing comedians like W. Kamau Bell, Baratunde Thurston and many others at

Now, we should be locked in to go monthly and to launch, very soon, a live monthly show featuring topical and political comedy.

Review in The SF Chronicle

I was reviewed this morning in the San Francisco Chronicle! Well, my movie was.
I'm stoked! We got a "Polite Applause" which is the little guy with his hat on his knees. If a year in human years is seven dog years, then a little applause guy is a little guy choking on his popcorn and dying, so blown away is he by the film he is seeing in "no budget documentary" years.

From the top down

This post stars Ben Kingsley
as The Voice of The Universe

I get the attention of people higher and higher up the ladder each time. I get rejected by bigger and bigger stars. In the end I will likely have built by myself whatever it is that I have, but I'll have heard the voice of the universe itself (sounds a lot like Ben Kingsley) say "Oh, Keith, we love it. We love it. The timing just isn't right, but we really love it."

For the time being, I am still an independent artist, which roughly translated means, I owe my dad money.

Day Job Barbie Invasion

This is what my desk looked like when I returned from New York. I realize this is exactly what most of you imagined my desk looking like anyway so, for the record, this is not what my desk looked like before I left for New York.

I love the state

I stumbled upon my friends Steve and Allen as they were having a two person political rally which is to say they were having a fine time discussing political issues that they were in complete agreement on. Catching sight of me, Steve said, "Yeah, Keith knows what I'm saying." inviting me to increase the size of the rally by one third. This is how movements start. But before we could launch the next Tea Party, (with slightly more creative signs I'd hope) Allen informed his pal that "Keith loves the state."

I replied with a laugh that the state and I had a love/hate relationship but his comment stayed with me through the week as day after day I woke up in my warm apartment, ate food that was plentiful and safe, went to my job that requires 40 hours of my time each week in exchange for health coverage and enough money to afford for me and my small family the aforementioned food, apartment, heat and some extras like a car with insurance, a computer connected to the internet, the occasional meal out and the resources to pursue my dream of finding another, more creative line of work. Most notably nobody tried to shoot me or my family. Nobody stopped me from expressing my views on religion and politics. I went about living my life fairly unobstructed.

I have always enjoyed these privileges and freedoms and so it's easy not to appreciate them, but when I look at the history of the world and even the present state of much of the world I am incredibly happy to have the life I have and even a bit ashamed at sometimes taking it for granted. The state seems to work pretty well for me, so yeah, I guess I love the state.

Now, I'm not one for idiotic, slobbering blind love. My girlfriend, the state, she's good to me but there is certainly room to improve this relationship and sometimes I get so frustrated I start thinking we might need relationship counseling. She tells me I can't smoke marijuana, or even just sit on the sidewalk and play my guitar. I don't want to do either of those things, but who the hell is she to tell me I can't? And more frustrating she doesn't allow my gay friends to get married. Of course there was a time not long ago when she wouldn't have permitted me to marry someone of a different race. There was a period when I couldn't express my socialist leanings without serious repercussions. But she continues to grow and change so I try to be patient and to work with her.

We have an open relationship, the state and I. I don't stay with her because of any ring on my finger or pledge. Everyday my love is earned anew. And some of the other folks she dates, well, they're pretty kinky. They encourage her more violent tendencies or they try to keep all her affections just for themselves. This may be the breaking point for us but I try to show her how nice we can have it if we just keep progressing the way that we, slowly, with many setbacks, have progressed. In fact I try to show them too, and sometimes we sit and we talk, her other lovers and I. Sometimes her other boyfriends or girlfriends have ideas that I like and I change too. Often times people won't listen but more often than not their children listen better.

It's not perfect, she's not perfect, I'm not perfect, but we've come quite a long way and I'm proud of us and we're happy together a great deal of the time.

So yes, I love the state with as mature, nurturing and responsible a love as I can manage.

Dear Blog

I do love you so. Forgive me for my neglect, for being unfaithful to you, running around behind your back with that nasty little tart Facebook. Here, I got you something pretty. Yes, it's a nice little calendar. We'll put it right there. Oh it looks nice on you. Oh, come on now, don't be like that. I said I was sorry. What do you want, a whole redesign? Oh... you do. Well, okay, fine I don't need sleep I guess. Here we go, a new background, color scheme, some videos, got the resume link in there, add some share links so that each and every fascinating post can be shared on Twitter and... well, you know, that other site. You look beautiful. I'll be giving you more attention now, I promise. Come lets have a little kiss.

Is a bible study page using a misspelled version of my blog's url to convert bad typists? Wow, that's flattering!

How weird is this. My blog is at but it you type it too fast and accidentally write blogpsot instead, you get a bible study page.

Yeah, is a bible study page. Um... does that make me famous or infamous at least? Someone spent money to register a misspelled version of my blog's url to trick people to their bible study page. Wow, I am notorious! Thank you for the ego boost AZT, whoever the hell you are.
